The Department of External Engagements (DEE) serves as the primary bridge between the University Student Government (USG) and its external partners. It is responsible for cultivating and sustaining relationships with organizations, companies, and institutions beyond the University, ensuring meaningful collaborations that support student initiatives and advocacy. The department also works closely with the Office of the Vice President for External Affairs (OVPEA) and other Executive Boards (EBs) to enhance their projects and initiatives through strategic partnerships, external support, and collaborative opportunities — amplifying the reach, impact, and relevance of USG programs to better serve the Lasallian community. DEE oversees all external coordination, partnership negotiations, career opportunities, endorsement processing, and communication efforts with stakeholders. It also manages the administrative requirements related to external engagements such as Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), documentation, permits, correspondence, and partnership reports. The committees under the Department of External Engagements fulfill these responsibilities through their respective functions, working collaboratively to strengthen the USG’s presence and network outside the university.
